“San Francisco has a desperate need for more medical and surgical space. As the needs of patients have grown, available space to care for them has not kept up. I searched for several years for a central location that would allow me to expand my practice. I also want to use the space to build housing, which is so badly needed in our city. My family and I plan to live in one of the apartments. I plan to be a good steward of the history of the site.”
